Can vouch for Clive - he’s been out to me twice this week, got a completely jammed door/lock back up and running again, replaced another lock and straightened a wonky door, and unjammed a couple of rusted in windows. Fast friendly service, super responsive and reliable!!

Many upvc windows gained entry to this morning . Un-seized and faulty mechanisms rebuilt .
New handles fitted and all hinges lubricated.
You will see that I had to get quite serious with one particular window that was literally rusted shut . Forcible opening can some time leave bruising on the plastic frames .
My trick with heat gun removed these marks so you would never know.
An emergency call out to a jammed upvc door .
Door manipulated open without damage .
The multi point locking mechanism was a long discontinued one . Have a guess who had one in stock ?.
Refitted new mechanism along with a nice anti snap cylinder .
To complete the job I even repaired the customers original handles to keep the cost down.
It's been a bumper week for us with many repairs and upgrades to upvc windows .
And above all we have met some lovely people ( something that's important to me ).
Getting busy for next week by the look of the diary- but we will do our best to fit you in.
A very rare gearbox to fail , but blown itself to bits - big time .
Many faults on this upvc door when I arrived .
Door adjusted badly, handles badly worn and cylinder retaining screw not fitted correctly.
Enough force involved to actually shatter the lock case !
Anyway all rebuilt now with new gearbox and adjusted correctly .
Customer was actually going to buy new doors !.
I repaired her front door whilst there too !
A top tip is to clean out the hinge tracks every spring before you start using the windows .
A quick coat of maintenance spray will help stop the hinges seizing and eventually breaking .
It is quite common for seized hinges either to break or cause the hinge side of window to 'pop out' causing draughts .
If the window is accessible without ladders or scaffolding then we can replace hinges for you along with replacing any damaged or worn draught seals .
